Welcome to the Long Island Parent Center website.The LIPC is available to provide information and support to parents and professionals, through person to person contact, training, workshops, website contact and our resource library regarding services to children with special needs. MissionLIPC Mission Statement- “To enhance the ability of parents to collaborate with school districts and ensure access to appropriate services for their children with special needs regardless of language, culturally different lifestyles, and/or past educational experiences”. TrainingsWe provide workshops/training for parents and professionals in English and Spanish on many topics. Upcoming Volunteer Opportunities• Camp Fair - Saturday, April 12th 11-2pm The Long Island Parent Center is currently looking for volunteers to help with their 1st Annual Camp Fair.
